| The club staffs certified personal trainers. Each has a variety of specific certifications. Their individual certification listings are available on the lower level just outside the fitness center. A sampling of their certification associations are: National Academy of Sports Medicine, International Sports Science Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the American Council of Exercise.

The Lake Country Racquet & Athletic Club fitness center includes a wide variety of free weight equipment. The equipment is comprised of benches, squat racks and smith machines from companies such as Hammer Strength, Magnum, and Cybex. Rubber coated plates and dumbbells make your workout quieter and safer. We also offer excellent cardio equipment for your workout. A large number of Lifecycles, treadmills, cross trainers, stair climbers, rowers, and elliptical machines allows for immediate usage and no waiting lists for machines. Complete with “Broadcast Vision” entertainment system, you can watch your favorite television program while you work out. STRENGTH TRAINING MACHINES A large selection of Cybex, Life Fitness, Magnum Fitness and Free Motion equipment is available for a more complete workout. Set up for easy and spacious usage, this area allows you to complete a “total body” workout. All machines are adjustable to fit each user and operate on aselected path of movement, which allows for simplicity for the beginner to advanced lifter.
We offer professional fitness evaluations using the expertise of professionally certified personal trainers, “Health First” computer software, and specific evaluation equipment. We will help you to find your current level of fitness, set obtainable goals, PERSONAL TRAINING Professionally certified male and female personal trainers will work one on one with you or in small groups, and are dedicated to helping you achieve the results you desire. Training programs are formulated on an individual basis using RED SHIRTS Any member having trouble with a machine or needing quick and simple workout advice, may ask a trainer wearing the “Red Shirt,” which designates who is not working with clients and is available to help you. |
