We hold many activities in our pool center. Please look below for the different programs we offer and also check out the Group Fitness Schedule for a description of the Aqua classes we offer.

Baby Splash & Play

You and your child will have fun together frolicking in the water. You will work with your child on water adjustment and basic skill development through various water games and songs. We want to make your child’s first experience in the water positive and fun.

Swim Lessons

Group swim lessons are available on a session basis. The lessons provide children the opportunity to learn to swim in a safe and fun environment. The lessons are for 6 month olds to adults. Swim lessons for age 6 month. Class sizes are kept small to ensure personal instruction is provided. Swim lessons for age 6 months – 14 years old are available to both members and non-members. You must be a member over 14 years of age. LCRAC offers both Red Cross classes and standard LCRAC lessons.

Private and semi-private swim lessons are always available to members.

Private & Semi-Private Swim Lessons

Our swim program targets our members of all ages, whether infant, child, or adult. Emphasis
is on safety, stroke development, and endurance.

Children’s Wave Swim Team

LCRAC Wave Swim Team is open to youth who can swim one length of front crawl and back crawl. No prior competitive swimming experience is needed. Practice will target all four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Wave is a wonderful stepping stone introduction to the world of competitive swimming. Swimmers may join the program in September or January.

Aqua Aerobics

Fat burning cardiovascular workouts use the positive and negative resistance of the water to build strength and add muscle definition. Individuals are encouraged to work at their own pace, which allows for all fitness levels in each scheduled class. The water is a great place to strength train without causing stress on the joints or back.

Adult Only Swim Times

LCRAC offers adult only times in the pool. This gives our members the ability to use the pool when no children are involved in activities in the pool area. You must be over 18 to use the adult pool times:
