Membership Sales Consultant (Part or Full-Time Available)

Our state of the art fitness club is looking for a Membership Sales Consultant to provide information, encouragement and follow-up with prospective club members from their initial contact with the club through their first year of membership.  Successful Sales Consultants will manage prospects and new members to reach our monthly sales goals through the use of the company client database as well as effective interdepartmental communication.  This individual will be expected to generate prospective member leads through their own community outreach efforts as well as from the clubs ongoing marketing efforts.

Our ideal candidate will have experience doing membership sales and must conduct business in a positive and professional manner.

Payroll and Membership Coordinator (Part-Time)

Our fast paced fitness club is looking for a Payroll and Membership Coordinator. This part-time position allows for a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include semi-monthly payroll processing, internal club program setup and maintenance and detailed knowledge of club operating software. Applicant must be detail oriented and able to quickly and efficiently learn new software programs.

Requirement for this position include:

One year experience processing a variety of payroll types (i.e. hourly, bonuses, commission, etc.)

One year experience managing complex schedules

Understanding of the basic accounting concepts

Personal Trainer

Our busy, growing fitness club is in need of a Personal Trainer to support mentoring and fitness guidance sessions with our clients. The successful applicant will not only be responsible for taking on existing clients based on need, but also for soliciting new business and teaching club members about the benefits of personal training. We’re looking for a motivated individual with sales experience who can help us establish a competitive edge in our area. 

Since many of our members are interested in group fitness classes, trainers with experience in those areas will receive top priority. Additional education or experience in nutrition is a huge benefit as well.

Our Personal Trainers earn commission based on a scale that can be as high as 50%.  The potential ability to pick up additional income by teaching group classes is encouraged and a great way to build relationships with a large client group.


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or an accredited personal training certification
  • 1 year of personal training experience with proven ability to successfully develop a large clientele.

Housekeeping (Part Time)

Lake Country Racquet & Athletic Club in Hartland is celebrating over 40 years in business and is always looking for talented cleaning and maintenance people.  Successful applicants are action orientated, have a positive attitude, and are organized and detail orientated.  Good communication skills are necessary. Pool operator experience and some mechanical skills are helpful but not required. 

Available positions:

  • Friday and Saturday – 2nd and 3rd shift
  • Saturday and Sunday- 11am-3pm

Part Time Child Care Worker

Lake Country Racquet and Athletic Club has an onsite temporary childcare facility called the” Kid’s Clubhouse” and we are looking for a child care worker for 4-8 hours per week.  The “Kids Clubhouse” provides a positive, nurturing, and fun atmosphere for children. This is accomplished through a dedicated and friendly staff, a clean and safe environment, accepting challenges with a positive attitude, working together with parents and staff, and communicating any concerns with the management team. The primary goal will be to provide the best possible experience for Member’s children.

 During a normal day, staff will play kid videos, table games, and almost any fun activity a child can think of. We have a separate baby room for those under 2. We do change diapers on infants.

Aqua Instructor

We are currently seeking qualified fitness professionals to teach Aqua classes. We are looking to add day, evening and weekend classes. The qualified candidate must:

  • Hold a current certification in Aqua and/or Group Fitness Certification
  • Be CPR/AED certified
  • Have strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of current fitness standards
  • Have at least one year of teaching group exercise classes
  • Must be able to sub for other instructors and have a flexible schedule.

Tennis Professional

At this time we are accepting applications for a future need, this is not an immediate need.

 We are an all indoor 8 court tennis facility with all updated courts, lights and ceilings. We are a full multi-purpose work out facility including fitness, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, swimming pool, spinning, group X training, massage, pro shop and bar. We have a large group of adult players and run adult in house leagues and adult state league. We are part of the GMITA, Greater Milwaukee Indoor Tennis Association that we run interclub teams against. This position would coach our high level and deep junior program that is in need of one more experienced coach.

 Job responsibilities include:

  • On court teaching
  • Off court duties
  • Traveling to local tournaments to coach our players.

Position Requirements include:

  • Either USPTA or USPTR certification
  • Minimum playing level of a 4.5
  • College level playing experience
  • Midwest coaching experience preferred

This is a year round position!
